Foam Soap

When I wash my hands, which I do often, nothing makes me feel more clean (and alive) than pushing in the soap dispenser and having sweet foam soap goodness flow into my hands like honey flowing to the Gods. It's a feeling that I can't explain logically. It shouldn't be explained, actually. There are some phenomenons that that I accept without question.

There are others who at least share my love for foam soap, if not my infatuation. It is not uncommon for me to receive text message updates on location from my friends who are at an establishment that has made the wise decision of utilizing foam soap.

I just love it. I'm gonna go wash my hands now, it's waiting on me.

Elephants

It would really suck to be an elephant in an interrogation type scenario, 'cause if you needed to say "I don't remember" you'd never get away with it.

Daylight Savings Time

This is the first year I've had to execute the Daylight Savings Time switch on my own. If not for my frequenting of Digg I wouldn't even know to change my clock this time around.

I don't like it though. I don't like it at all. If there's one thing I find myself saying every year, it's "Man, I wish I had one more hour of daylight."

Snow

Snow: Is it fun, or is it not fun?

Snow is fun to play in and look at and hope for when you didn't study for that test but know if you just had a snow day you'd be able to ace it

Snow is fun to watch on screen (The Frosty the Snowman special) or listen to (Let it Snow).

Snow is fun when you're a guy and you just know it's gonna be cold so you position yourself in a seat beside a young lady with a prime chance of cuddling. Maybe even some Al Green?

Snow is fun when it's used as camouflage for the Rebel Alliance's base on Hoth.

Snow is not fun when you have a driver's license.

Snow is not fun when you're wearing your Chucks.

Snow is not fun when you're in middle school, it's a snow day, and your girlfriend wastes your time on the phone when you could be playing Playstation. True story.

Snow is not fun when you're the one who goes out and clears the roads for all us driving folk.

I don't know about this snow.

Duck Hunt Tramp Stamps

-drools-

Daniel and I just agreed how hot this is.

Kenny Chesney at the Dame

Say what you want about country artists, but the fact that one of the genre's biggest superstars is bypassing the chance to sell out huge arenas (which he could) to play at The Dame for 400 people is a pretty big deal, and a cool thing.

If only more artists had that mentality.

Hillary Clinton

This one could probably be an ongoing journal, but i'll try to just hit the high points:

-She won't release her tax returns, even after being hardily instructed to do so. Why not? Something to hide, of course.

-She essentially endorses John McCain over Barack Obama on numerous occasions in the same day.

-She's sticking with a campaign that's hurting the Democratic party. Obama now has to deal with both McCain AND Clinton trying to dent his armor. It's almost mathematically impossible for Hillary to win the nomination (early number crunches estimate 60% of the popular vote in the remaining states), so staying in only gives Obama less time side by side with McCain to prove he's the better candidate (which I have no doubt he would easily demonstrate)

-Then there's the big one. Thay "Yes" vote on the Iraq war isn't the best thing on a resume, is it?

MikeVan On.

Here we go again, another blog startup to add to my growing list. There have only been 4 times in the past when I followed up consistently with my blogging. This one -may- be the fifth. The title should give it away rather quickly, I'll just be posting my thoughts on whatever subject strikes my fancy.
